Regional Qualifying Draws

Five wildcard places into the TIBC2026 field will be decided across three regional qualifying days in North, South and North West Tasmania. Section play determines each region's qualifiers, who then join the main draw at Trevallyn Bowls Club, Launceston, 2–5 October 2026.

How Qualifiers Are Decided

4 sections, 3 games each, then a cross play-off.
  • Section 1 winner vs Section 2 winner = Qualifier 1
  • Section 3 winner vs Section 4 winner = Qualifier 2

  • At the completion of sectional play, section winners play off to determine the 2 qualifiers for the TIBC.

  • Section winners complete another full round of sectional play against each other
  • The top 2 ranked players from that round qualify for the TIBC
